Women’s Ministry at MCC is an international group of ladies from all walks of life and various church backgrounds (a few from no church background) committed to growing together in the Lord. It’s hard to do Christianity “solo”—it was never designed to be an individual pursuit, but rather a community experience. We strive, as women, to grow in understanding of God AND to invite the outside world to taste the wisdom, beauty, and worth of God. We do all of this in a weekly meeting on Monday mornings during the school year and seasonal retreats.
The Women’s Community Bible Study will resume on Monday morning Sept 11, 2017 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
The time is divided between teaching and small group discussion with time for prayer and worship as well. AND this all happens under the influence of good coffee and awesome baked goods! We meet on the 2nd floor of the Education Building (of St. John’s Episcopal at Port Said St. & Road 17). PLUS, free childcare is available.
This the fall semester Amy Widener will be teaching a series entitled “Keeping in Step With the Spirit: A Study in Acts.” It is great if you can join the study from the beginning, but please know that you are always welcome to join whenever you can.
The spring study will be on the book of Jeremiah and will be team taught by Amy Widener and Dr. Elisabeth Kennedy. For those who want to attend, but are unable, click: MaadiWomensBibleStudy.podbean.com to listen to the weekly talks.
